The story
I'm Martijn, the founder of aptura.io.
I built this because I kept watching creative agency teams lose entire days rebuilding the same design across 13 markets — reopening the same Photoshop file, After Effects project, or slide deck for every market, nudging text boxes back into place, re-picking fonts, re-exporting, one language at a time.
Translation tools could handle the words. None of them understood the file. So the layout work — the part that actually eats the day — always landed back on a designer's desk.
aptura.io reads the file itself: the layers, the fonts, the timing. It translates the text and puts it back exactly where it came from, so nobody has to rebuild the same design over and over, once per market.
What I'm building it for
Today aptura.io works with the files creative agencies already use — Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SVG — plus plugins that push finished translations straight back into your Photoshop and After Effects projects. If your team ships the same creative in more than one language, this was built for exactly that problem.
